Assessment and Rating Process
Campbelltown Community Children’s Centre is Meeting the National Quality Standard. The centre provides quality education and care in all 7 quality areas. The centre ensures that the children in our centre have stimulating and positive interactions, which will foster all aspects of their development. We are proud to be a high quality centre and aim to continue to operate at a high standard. Parents, staff/educators, children, community involvement and input are encouraged, either by offering suggestions or participation on the centre committee.
Incursions and Excursions
Incursions and excursions are planned throughout the year based on children’s current interests and abilities. These activities are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and are tailored to cater to the various age groups. The aim of excursions is to provide the children with engaging, fun and dynamic learning experiences outside the childcare setting. Incursions also provide the children opportunities to learn through various experiences that are presented in the centre through volunteers and other organisations.
Preschool Program
Preschool Program is constructed using Literacy and Numeracy indicators, Teacher initiated focuses and focus projects based on observations and children’s interests. Each child’s agency is promoted through open ended and structured play which will allow children to develop at their own pace.
