About us
The Campbelltown Community Children’s Centre is an integrated early learning service. We are a Community – Based Childcare Centre with a DECD Preschool on site. We are proud to offer parents a wide and unique range of services.
The Centre offers a stable, caring environment, staffed by experienced bilingual educators. We welcome families, staff and students from various cultural backgrounds and offer an inclusive environment to meet the needs of a wide variety of families and children with additional needs. Parents and extended families are encouraged to participate in Centre activities and are welcome at the Centre at all times.
The Centre is a not-for profit Centre, which is managed by parents who form a Management Committee. The Centre offers both childcare and preschool services to the community.
Centre History
The Campbelltown Community Children’s Centre officially opened on September 13th 1976. The Centre was established as a joint venture between the South Australian Education Department and the Department for Community and Welfare, and incorporated both Long Day Care Services and Preschool.
The Centre is licensed for 118 children aged 6 weeks to school age.
Our Vision Statement
Campbelltown Community Children’s Centre strives to offer high quality care that encapsulates a learning environment which maximise each individual child’s full potential. In partnership with children, staff, families and the wider community we will provide a curriculum based on the children’s interests and in connection with the Early Years Learning Framework.
Campbelltown Community Children’s Centre will aim to support the needs of our diverse community by providing information from various organisations and support agencies that cater for the needs of our children and families.
We will continue to create a warm, safe learning environment that our children, families and educators can enjoy as they grow and develop.
